From 19th to 27th Sep 2009, there was London Design Festival going on. I had no idea. I faced this big event without any information. Before I came to the UK, I was not into this kind of thing, and after I arrived here, I got the wrong information somehow while the festival was going on. Well, my ignorance made me miss almost everything.

To be honest, I thought this festival as a kind of design events which is held in specific place like V&A for about a week. I was totally wrong. London Design Festival is held everywhere in London, and there are many different kinds of events in the festival. It is like the whole city London is moving with the theme of design. There are so many events happened in the city, so even travelers visited during this time will not need to look for different things. If you are planning to visit London in 2010, I guess it would be better to visit in September rather than summer on-peak period. English autumn weather seems much better than summer. Also, you can see less tourists on the street, so you can enjoy London with relaxed feeling.

If you are interested in London Design Festival, you can visit the above websites and browse around. There is some ridiculous stuff, but a few things are quite fabulous. Even though I could only see one or two things from this year’s festival because of my ignorance I will prepare everything for 2010 London Design Festival to catch every single bit.
